Emma Kahan, ICAEW Chartered Accountant
With a diverse background that includes qualifying as a Chartered Accountant at Deloitte in 2007, founding and operating a wine importing business, and collaborating with small businesses in a progressive accountancy practice, I have twenty years(!) experience of working with businesses and their needs.
This spans owner-managed businesses in many sectors such as health, education, wellbeing, professional services and arts-based charities. I am also currently training as a counsellor to bring that sense of calm!
Through all of this, I have discovered three key passions: Numbers, Relationships, and Freedom.
Understanding numbers is not just useful but powerful - Imagine that light-bulb moment when you actually understand your accounts and taxes!
Engaging with friendly, reliable, and honest people is uplifting - Building genuine relationships fosters a supportive and inspiring environment.
Freedom—of choice, knowledge, and time to work in our own way—is essential - When you have a clear understanding of your finances, you gain the freedom to focus on what truly matters.
For me, that is time back to spend with family, friends, and my labrador Ozzy.

We only use Xero Accounting Software plus integrated add-on apps for our bookkeeping needs. We want one reliable and user friendly system that we know inside out and can call ourselves experts in. We are a certified partner firm and have the advisor certifications that we need.
If you aren’t on Xero already we will manage that transition process smoothly and offer all the training and support you will need if you want to bookkeep yourself.
